Sean learned early on in his late model racing career that the key to a fast race car is understanding the mechanical aspects of vehicle dynamics, translate this knowledge into the appropriate chassis set-up and make the necessary performance adjustments. Sean has the appropriate skill set to adapt to different tracks quickly, by finding optimal points for trail braking and staggered steering/ throttle application. These techniques are self-taught and results in the ability to articulate the race car in mid corner to set up passing on corner exit. These techniques are absolutely essential for high-speed circle track racing. Sean’s nickname in open wheel been correctly coined as “Smooth Move” – with the ability to carry speed and momentum on very fast 1/3 to 3/8 mile pavement tracks.

Sean’s post-graduate course work and personal study in race engineering has allowed him continually improve his racing performance and achieve top-tier ranking in the UMARA Midget Division. Sean ready to tackle his next racing goal, which is taking his exceptional skill set to the next level in a ASA Late Models; demonstrating his well-rounded background with a highly competitive racing enterprise.
